Actor Aamir Khan recently visited his ex-wife Reena Dutta at her Mumbai house on Sunday night. Aamir was seen wearing dhoti pants with a T-shirt at the time. Netizens did not miss their chance, some of them even said that Aamir’s look seemed to be inspired by Ranveer Singh’s fashion style.

A teasing comment on Aamir’s attire read, “After spending a night with Ranveer Singh,” another one read, “Why is he wearing her salwar?” Aamir and Reena were teenagers when they first met. They tied the knot in1986, April 18, at the time both were very very young. The former couple has two children, Ira and Junaid.

Aamir in an old interview had said that he and Reena were married for 16 years. They grew up together and got married at a very young age. He revealed that their separation was difficult for both of them. Aamir said that their relationship was special to him and it took him a lot of time to recuperate from the separation. He met Kiran three to four years after their divorce. The actor said that his divorce from Reena was a very emotional time.

“When we decided to part ways, Reena and I first explained the situation to our kids. Even after Reena and I filed for divorce, our family remains as close as ever…There are three women who are very important parts of my life — my mother, Reena and Kiran. I even carry pictures of my family on my phone with me, especially my mom’s,” he had said.

Aamir met Kiran Rao and married her in 2005. The couple announced their divorce after 15 years of marriage in August 2021. Their son Azad was born in December 2011. Workwise Aamir’s next film is Laal Singh Chaddha, a Bollywood adaptation of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump, the film is produced by Kiran. She had backed a few of Aamir’s films in the past as well, i.e. including Dangal and Secret Superstar.
