Actor Chiranjeevi led Corona crisis Charity, CCC in association with Apollo 24×7 that will be giving out free Covid-19 vaccines to journalists and the people who work in the Telugu film Industry.
The actor in a video clip urges people to enroll in the respective associations for availing of the vaccines. He requested that journalists and cine workers above the age of 45 years with their spouses should come forward and get vaccinated. The vaccine drive will be commenced from April 22, Chiranjeevi announced in the video clip.
Several Telugu celebrities like Varun Tej, Vishwak Sen and Sai Dharam Tej, Ravi Teja, and Sharwanand came forward last year and donated money to Corona Crisis Charity, which was initially set up by Chiranjeevi to assist the Telugu industry’s daily wage workers.
Chiranjeevi, who led this charity to fight against the Coronavirus pandemic on behalf of the Telugu film Industry donated Rs 1 Crore as a relief fund.
“The lockdown situation while mandatory to deal with the coronavirus, also adversely impacts the lives of daily wage workers and lower-income groups in the country including Telugu Film Industry. Keeping this in mind, I’m donating Rs 1 crore for providing relief to the film workers”, Chiranjeevi tweeted back then.
