Today, the BJP Leader Sambit Patra took a jibe at the Congress party at a press conference in Delhi. He alleged that Congress depends on the alliance to maintain its relevance. “One such alliance is being done by Rahul Gandhiji and his Congress party in Bengal,” he mocked.
In the conference, the BJP leader stated that all the alliances formed by Congress till now have not done anything good. “The alliance formed by Congress has not done good performance, good reforms, or good performance,” he said. Patra highlighted that the alliances were done only to the political relevance of the Gandhi family.
He further slammed Congress for calling itself secular and forming an alliance with the ISF in Bengal. “Alliances with the Muslim League in Kerala combine with the Front Organization of the Jamaat-e-Islami,” he added.
Recalling a statement given by Rahul Gandhi, Patra stated that Congress is not even a party of Muslims but rather it is a party of the family. Previously, Rahul Gandhi had mentioned that the Congress was a party of Muslims.
He also mentioned the election results that will be declared today in Gujarat. He added that only the politics of development work in the nation. “Congratulations to the people of Gujarat, BJP Government of Gujarat, and hearty greetings of all the workers,” he said.
