The COVID-19 is affecting 213 countries and territories around the world and 2 international conveyances. There have now been 7,046,780 confirmed cases around the world, comprising more than 4 lakh deaths where the recovered are 3,442,609. In many countries, official data includes only deaths reported in hospitals, not those in homes or nursing homes. WHO declared the virus a global pandemic on March 11, expressing their concern on the alarming levels of spread and severity of the outbreak.

The coronavirus family circulates in animals and some can be transmitted between animals and humans. Several coronaviruses are circulating in animals that have not yet infected humans, according to WHO. Being at first, the US has reached near 2 million confirmed cases. In the US, New York, New Jersey, California, Illinois are badly affected by the virus. Brazil in second place near 7 lakh case, followed by Russia 467,673, Spain 288,390 and UK with 2,84,868 cases. The death tolls in these countries mark to be the highest.

As of 7th June 2020, India reported near 10,000 cases in just 24 hours. According to the health ministry, there are now 2,48,228 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country with 6,957 deaths and 287 deaths reported in the last 24 hours. Maharashtra and Delhi are badly affected. Rate of Death in India is too less than other countries, that is really a good sign but the new cases also rising in a large volume. It is true that after the relaxation of lockdown, the rate of increase is going upwards day by day.
