The Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti is being called by the Enforcement Directorate on Friday at the New Delhi Headquarter for a money laundering case on March 15. Reportedly, a federal agency team visited Mufti`s house to reach out to her but was not received by the Former CM due to her absence. The case has been filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and further information awaits.
Mehbooba Mufti, the face of Jammu and Kashmir’s PDP party which was formed by Mehbooba Mufti`s father and former CM Mufti Mohammad Sayed. The case was filed against her, following JKPDP`s decision to re-elect Mufti as their President. Mufti is on the road, traveling to different districts for finding new faces of the party.
