Today, the official Twitter handle of the Congress has taken a jab at PM Narendra Modi by posting some old photographs of the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh onboard Air India One. ‘Some photographs are harder to copy,’ said the Congress, on the photos in which Mr. Manmohan Singh can be seen interacting with the media.
The pictures were posted after PM Narendra Modi posted a photograph on Wednesday from his flight which was scheduled towards the US. “A long flight also means an opportunity to go through papers and some file work,” was the caption of his picture in which Mr. Modi was noticed to be occupied in file work.
The Congress has poked the PM at the fact that Mr. Manmohan Singh used to address press conferences even during his flight journeys and the tweet became viral soon after being posted. The PM left for the United States on Wednesday and arrived in the country on Thursday.
He was received by the Joint Base at Washington after his arrival and greeted by the American Indian community of the US. This is PM Modi’s first meeting with Joe Biden since he became the President.
Mr. Modi also scheduled to meet US Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday and reach New York on Friday. Prior to his return the PM is supposed to address the United Nations General Assembly.
