Indian Air Force will induct two new Rafale fighter jets in the Republic Day Parade of 2021 in India that will be a part of the flypast. Rafale fighter jet will take part in the parade of 72nd R-Day for the first time that will roar over the Rajpath, New Delhi.
This year will showcase mock-ups of the light combat aircraft, light combat helicopter, and the Sukhoi-30 fighter plane. IAF Spokesperson said that there will be a part of two different formations. He said that the name of the mixed formation in which the first Rafale will take part is Eklavya. The name of the last formation that will see a single Rafale will be named “Brahmastra”.
Interestingly, the spokesperson said that Brahmastra means weapons that can destroy everything. The Wing Commander Indranil Nandi PRO said that a single rafale, flanked by two Jaguar and two MiG 29, and a single Rafale will carry out vertical Charlie will form a mixed formation.
