NANCY JAISWAL: Union minister: Nirmala Sitharaman while interacting with different economists earlier today spoke about Budget 2020 leaving a positive impact on the equity, bond and currency markets of the nation.
She also expressed the ministry’s desire to make positive changes in the budget as and when required.
During her last interactive session held in Chennai for giving and presenting a detailed clarification picture on Budget 2020, she added about the government’s future plan of releasing the subsidy amount.
She also mentioned about Rs 8 crore being dispatched for Pm Kisan and more will be granted soon.
Considering the Ministry for micro, medium and small enterprises, she said that 60 percent of the pending amount has already been cleared.
Sitharaman will be visiting Hyderabad and Bengaluru on February 16 and 17 to organize and communicate with different stakeholders on the matter of Budget 20-21.
During her first session, she will interact with representatives of trade, industry, investment bankers and farmers organizations. The second session will have her meeting with economists, tax practitioners, academia and policymakers.
Sitharaman announced Budget 2020-21 on behalf of the NDA government on February 1.
