India had administered at least 417 million Covid vaccine doses by Wednesday, July 21. As of 7 pm on Wednesday, India had cumulatively administered 41,76,56,752 doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
As per the data, on Wednesday, India had administered 20,83,892 doses. In the 18-45 age group, 10,04,581 were given the first dose while 95,964 were given the second dose on the day.
Since the beginning of Phase-3 of the vaccination drive, nearly 13,04,46,413 individuals belonging to the 18-45 age group have received their first dose and 53,17,567 have received their second dose.
Reportedly, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh have administered more than 10 million vaccine doses in the 18-45 age group. Meanwhile, more than 1 million beneficiaries of the age group have been vaccinated with the first dose in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
