One of the renowned Bollywood singers, Abhijeet Bhattacharya has called the reality show judges “self-centered” and “inexperienced”. Abhijeet who has been popular for his songs in the 90s, and early 2000 was called as a special guest judge in Indian Idol 12.

The singer said that he is not present in the reality show scene as he could not agree with certain people who were supposed to share the panel with him. He opened up in an interview and said that he did not ask the creative director of the Indian Idol to bring him to the show because he needed work but because he believes that he deserves that position.

Abhijeet said in the interview, “I told them, I am not asking for work, I am asking for what is rightfully mine. People work under me. I am the employer. They call people who’ve sung four songs in their whole life. You make those people judges who haven’t served music. They are only commercial. They have given hit songs, but they haven’t given music anything.”

He also added, “These fools expose themselves by ignoring me.” He said that the remix of the old song is not the fault of the singers because they are paid very less. He said that he spoke to Anu Malik and Muntashir about the situation and asked them whether it was ‘a joke?’.

He also informed in the interview that they have admitted to their mistake. Abhijeet Bhattacharya said that he is the real judge and not the people who promote themselves. The people who promote their own music, own songs, are not judges.
