On Friday morning, in Pulwama of Jammu and Kashmir, 3 terrorists were gunned down in an encounter while 2 civilians sustained injuries due to the same.
According to the officials, in the south Kashmir district’s Kakapora area, a cordon-and-search operation was launched by the security forces after getting inputs regarding presence of terrorists.
He further added that when the terrorists retaliated with gunfire, the operation converted into an encounter.
As per the reports, the dead terrorists were involved in the attack on BJP leader Anwar Khan’s house in Srinagar and a constable was killed due to the attack.
The official said that both injured civilians, Ghulam Nabi Dar (42) and Ishrat Jan (25) were sent to the hospital later. Both of them are residents of Samboora of Pulwama.
