On Monday morning, a Pakistani fighter jet flew very close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. This action by the Pakistani air force violated the international ceasefire.

Jammu based Defense spokesperson informed that the jet flew close to the LoC in the Poonch sector in violation of international conventions. “As per the international conventions, it is not allowed to fly fighter jets within a 10 km radius of the border,” the Defense spokesperson added. The spokesperson further claimed that a jet stream was visible in the sky close to the LoC in Poonch.

Previously a few weeks back, some drones had been spotted near the Line of Control. Reportedly, in the Arnia sector, BSF has opened fire on one of them.
