Today, the security forces shot two Lashkar terrorists in South Kashmir’s Shopian district. The encounter unfolded at Cheerbagh area of Shopian district also claimed the life of a soldier. Reportedly, two army personnel have been injured in the process.

Sources revealed that one of the terrorists killed has been identified as Adil Wani. Talking to the media, the police informed that Adil Wani was a district commander of The Resistance Front (TRF), linked to LeT. IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that he was involved in the targeted killing of a carpenter from UP last weekend in Litter, Pulwama.

Since the last two weeks, 15 terrorists have been killed. For the past few days, Kashmir has been witnessing a sudden surge in the number of civilian killings.
