After Assam, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has reached Hooghly in West Bengal. While addressing the public meeting, PM Modi said that Bengal has made up its mind to change and BJP will develop Bengal in every aspect once it comes to power. The public enthusiasm is giving a big message. “Developed countries built infrastructure at the right time, now such preparations have to be done in Bengal as well,” said the PM.

Attacking the ruling party of Bengal, PM Modi said that the people who talk about ‘Maa-Mati-Manus’ (TMC’s popular slogan), have become a wall in front of the development of Bengal. He claimed that the central government deposited the money of farmers and the poor directly in their bank account but the money of the Central Government’s schemes would not reach the poor without the consent of the TMC’s ‘Tolabaj’.

According to the PM, today in West Bengal, without the permission of the syndicate, even the buildings cannot also be rented. “Together, we have to change this situation created in West Bengal, we have to bloom lotus,” added Modi.

The PM stated that today, West Bengal is taking a big step to prove its resolve for fast development due to this heroic land. “Last time I came to give you the gift of gas connectivity, infrastructure. Today important works are going to start to strengthen rail and metro connectivity. Our country should have done this decades ago,” he added.

Noting the benefits of the West Dedicated Freight Corridor, Modi stated that a part of it has also been commissioned, very soon the entire corridor will open, which will create opportunities for industries in West Bengal as well. He further stated, “This is the earth which gave us great saints like Ram Krishna Paramahamsa, Radhanath Sigar, the great mathematician who measured Mount Everest, great linguist Bhudev Mukherjee, has also had connections with such mystics.”

Modi claimed, “I am surprised that all the governments that have been here for so many years have left this state on their own. They have allowed the infrastructure and heritage to suffer. The makers of ‘Vande Mataram’, who gave new life to the freedom struggle, new strength to revolutionaries, inspired the motherland to make Sujalam-Suflam.”

PM Modi said that not being able to secure the place of the creators of such an immortal anthem is a great injustice to the pride of Bengal. The PM claimed that there is a lot of politics behind this injustice as he said, “This is the politics which emphasizes appeasement instead of vote bank. Today, this politics stops people in Bengal from worshiping Goddess Durga, and citizens of Bengal will never forgive such people who insult their culture for vote bank politics.”

Modi assured the people of Bengal that when the BJP government will be formed in Bengal, every Bengalis will be able to glorify their culture. Nobody will scare them, no one will be able to suppress anyone. The BJP will work for the creation of that ‘Sonar Bangla’, in which the history and culture of Bengal will become stronger day by day.
