Today, BJP leader and UP CM, Yogi Adityanath lashed out at the TMC-Supremo Mamata Banerjee while addressing a rally in Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal. The BJP leader accused Banerjee of the prevailing corruption existing in the state. Pointing out the unemployment situation in the state, he mentioned that due to the corruption and hooliganism of the TMC, there has been a decline in the employment rate.
He said, “For 10 years, TMC and Banerjee have been promising for the development of West Bengal with an increase in employment. Where is employment didi?”
In the rally, he assured that if BJP comes to power in West Bengal, it would provide employment opportunities to the youth, along with providing several facilities to the farmers. He highlighted that the party would also enforce the safety of every woman and girl of the state. The party would also ensure to implement the ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme to make healthcare facilities available to all individuals.
Speaking of Amphan cyclone fund relief provided by the Centre in West Bengal, he accused the TMC goons of mishandling it. He outlined that the ration provided by the Centre was consumed by the TMC party workers instead of providing it to the needy. He also questioned Mamata for the reason behind not implementing the ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme in Bengal.
Furthermore, the BJP leader mocked the TMC-Supremo for getting angry on hearing the slogan, ‘Jai Shri Ram’. He pointed out that the people of Bengal get into trouble if they chant the slogan in front of her. “Didi you can be angry with us (BJP), but why Shri Ram. Anyone who has dared to confront Jai Shri Ram has faced a bad situation,” he added. He also mentioned that the upcoming election has made Mamata Banerjee chant ‘Maa Chandi’.
Adityanath highlighted that the Assembly Election 2021, is not an opportunity to ‘change power’ but an opportunity to bring happiness to the lives of every individual. He urged the people to vote for BJP as his party would ensure to make Bengal, ‘Sonar Bangla’ as proposed by PM Modi. “If BJP comes to power in West Bengal, the people of Bengal will witness the ‘Asol Poriborton’,” he added.
