NEW DELHI: On Friday, October 16, with the NEET results published online, Soyeb Aftab (18), a NEET aspirant from Odisha has distinguished himself by achieving the first rank in the competitive exam with a total score of 720 out of 720.
Apparently, Soyeb had been undergoing his NEET preparations for the last two years and had attended coaching classes in the Allen Career Institute located in Kota. He finished his secondary and higher secondary education from the Sarvodaya Paramount School of Kota in which he scored 95.8% (Class X) and 96.8% (Class XII), respectively.
Claiming that he was expecting to score the first rank, the topper said, ” I had attempted all the questions in the NEET examination and was expecting under 100 Rank, but later when I checked my score with answer key and got full marks, I started thinking of getting AIR 1.”
As per Naveen Maheshwari, the director head of Allen Carrer Institute highlighted that their student Soyeb has turned the pages of history as this is the first time ever that a student has scored full marks in NEET. “Soyeb is our classroom coaching student from last two-and-a-half years and his feat is a proud moment for us,” Maheshwari proudly asserted.
Soyeb, whose father works as a businessman and mother a housewife, will be the first in his family to advance towards a medical career. According to the parents, Soyeb has always been a bright student when it concerned studies.
