He went on to say that no patient died in Chhattisgarh because of a shortage of oxygen. Our environment is oxygen-rich. There may have been some management difficulties, but no one died from a lack of it. He also accused the central government of taking credit for all good things while blaming the states for everything negative.
On Tuesday, Tamil Nadu health secretary, J Radhakrishna claimed that the state government guaranteed enough oxygen supply in both government and private hospitals and that no one has died as a result of a lack of life-saving gas. He also claimed that the state’s oxygen supply remained managed by a dedicated team.
Madhya Pradesh and Bihar have also acknowledged that no deaths have been reported owing to a lack of oxygen.
