Today, Peoples Democratic Party PDP President Mehbooba Mufti took a dig at Aryan Khan’s involvement in the drug case. She claimed that the Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan’s son was being ‘targeted’ by the central agencies due to his surname.
Taking the arrest of Aryan on a political front, she outlined that all Muslims are being targeted to please the core vote bank of the BJP. Referring to the Lakhimpur Kheri violence, Mufti cited that instead of making an example out of a Union Minister’s son accused of killing four farmers, central agencies are after a 23-year-old simply because his surname happens to be Khan. “Travesty of justice that Muslims are targeted to satiate the sadistic wishes of BJP’s core vote bank,” Mehbooba tweeted.
In her statement, she clearly referred to Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra. Ashish was accused of killing farmers at the Lakhimpur Kheri district in UP.
