Today, the Ministry of External Affairs informed that the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Adobe chief executive officer Shantanu Narayen was focused on leveraging technology to provide smart education to youngsters. The discussion also emphasized the need to improve research in India.
After the meeting, Narayen expressed his pleasure to hear about PM Modi’s vision on how he wants to expand India. “Keeping in mind PM Modi’s vision, I believe technology is the way to help move things forward,” Narayen added. Speaking about the National Education Policy, Narayen noted the people are the biggest asset and Adobe is supportive of more emphasis on education.
Commenting on the meeting, PM Modi mentioned several interesting ideas related to ed-tech, supporting Indian start-ups, and boosting innovation were discussed. He outlined that Shantanu expressed keenness to take the joys of video and animation to every child in India.
PM Modi held a series of discussions with industry leaders on the first day of this three-day visit to the United States. He held separate meetings with CEOs of Qualcomm, First Solar, General Atomics, and Blackstone Group.
