Pulwama terror attack: NIA arrests father and daughter


Global Tribune Desk: Today, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested two more accused named Tariq Ahmed Shah and his daughter Insha Jan for their connection with the last year’s Pulwama attack case in which 40 CRPF soldiers were martyred in an IED blast.

The two are accused of providing shelter to senior Jaish-e- Mohammad commanders just before the Pulwama attack. His house was also used by the terrorists for preparing and recording videos of Fidayeen Adil Ahmed Dar, which was released by Jaish-e- Mohammad after the Pulwama attack.

Insha Jan, a 23 years old lady facilitated the terrorists at their home and provided food and other logistics for more than 15 occasions for 2to 4 days, during the last one year. According to the agency report, Insha Jan was in constant touch with Mohd Umar Farooq, Pakistan IED maker and kept constant communication with him over the telephone and other social media networks
