Captain Amarinder Singh, Punjab CM slammed the Haryana government and tweeted that their administration is provoking farmers and restoring force to prevent them from marching to Delhi. This has led to a sharp response from his other sides’ counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar who has slammed back at the former for instigating innocent farmers.
He also said that for the last two months the farmer has been protesting peacefully but today their rights were oppressed by the Haryana government by using force against them and call it ‘Undemocratic’ and ‘Unconstitutional’. Tagging Khattar Captain tweeted, why the Haryana government is instigating them, and asked don’t the farmers have the right to pass peacefully through a public highway.
In a series of tweets, he urged Khattar to not push them to the brink while letting them a voice on their own. He also urged the saffron party to not indulge in strong-arm tactics against the farmers while directing their state governments. He added that the hands that feed the nation deserve to be held, not pushed aside. To this Khattar accused him of inciting farmers. He also said that Singh is neglecting the seriousness of farmers and their issues.
