Nadal beats with a 6-3,4-6,6-4,6-0 win over Diego Schwartzman. He bids for a 14th Roland Garros title and records 21st major triumph while Nadal dropped his first set at the tournament since 2019 and ending a run of 36 successive sets won in Paris by the Spanish third seed.
Nadal is a 35-year-old player who has extended his incredible French Open record to 105 wins and only two losses advancing to his 35th Grand Slam semi-final. In the last four of the 2020 edition, he beat Argentine 10th seed, Schwartzman.
Rafael stated that it was challenging for him to return to the semi-finals as Diego is such an amazing player with so much talent.
