The dazzling sight in the October end is all set to happen in the form of ‘Blue Moon’ and will finally come under our gaze embellishing the sky. From time immemorial the blue moon has been a significant part of enticing folklore and always had been a crucial element in the backstories of horror, dramatic, or mysteries incidents.
The blue moon will be visible in the night sky on October 31 from around 8.19 pm. The last time such a phenomenon happened was 1944 and the next one will be in 2039. It occurs about seven times every 19 years. The Blue Moon on Halloween is the second full moon after 1 October. The moon will appear near the red planet.
This months’ second full moon is usually anointed as ‘Blue Moon’. This type of second full moon occurs after every 30 months. The causal reason behind this phenomenon is that the lunar month has a duration of 29 days, 12 hours 44 minutes and 33 seconds and that the first moon should occur on the first and second day of the month. This rare Halloween Blue Moon appearance is seemingly not related to its colour as it is quite rare that a Blue-coloured moon appears in all its glory.
