On Monday morning, a worker of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was beaten to death in front of his wife in Kerala’s Palakkad district. The deceased, who is identified as S Sanjith was waylaid by a gang when he was traveling with his wife. He was aged 27.

KM Haridas, BJP district president, accused the Social Democratic Party of India, the political wing of the Popular Front of India, of the death. A probe into this matter is under process.

Police officials remarked that Sanjith surrendered to over 50 stab wounds. Heightened tension and fear have grasped the locality after the murder. Reportedly, police were keeping strict monitoring in the region.
