Mumbai: A family friend of SSR, named Smita Parikh, a festival director from Mumbai who knew both Sushant Singh and Rhea Chakraborty, revealed that Sushant was not at all depressed. She also informs that she has been in touch with the late actor’s family and that the entire theory is a lie. “Sushant was very upset after his ex-manager Disha Salian’s alleged suicide” and not only that but he was also telling Mitu (Sushant sister) that ‘they’ will not leave him and these people will be chasing him,” said Smita.

During an interview, Smita Parikh also said, “Sushant called his brother-in-law a few days later saying that he was very scared and the late actor had approached his family earlier in November too when he told them that he wanted to leave the industry.” she mentioned that Sushant kept on uttering, “Ab yeh log mujhe nahi chhodenge”.

Another shocking part which she revealed was that on 14th June, Sushant and her sister were going to have family time. On the 13th night, his sister calls him and he didn’t pick up the phone, she texted him but he didn’t reply, which was very unusual. The next morning, she called Sushant’s close friend Pithani and asked him where was Sushant and why was he not responding, and she’s been told that he just asked for juice and he went back and now he’s sleeping, added Smita Parikh.
