Aryan Khan and his co-accused Arbaaz Merchant are currently out on bail in the drugs-on-cruise case. Both of them appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) on Friday to mark their attendance.
A video shared online by a paparazzi account showed Arbaaz coming out of the NCB office with his father Aslam Merchant, who tried to make his son pose for the paparazzi. This made Arbaaz unforgettable, he facepalmed and said, “Stop it, Dad,” before getting in his car. Some of the photographers were heard giggling at Arbaaz’s reaction.
Another video from the same paparazzi account, showed Aryan Khan also entering the NCB office. Aryan stepped out of his car and went ahead into the office without stopping to pose.
Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant were arrested on October 3, with six others after a raid at an alleged rave party on a Goa-bound cruise ship. After they were arrested they were stationed at the Arthur Road Jail for three weeks. They were granted bail in the case by the Bombay High Court on a personal bond of ₹1 lakh each. As per the conditions of their bail order, they have been appearing before the NCB every week.
A detailed bail order of Aryan’s case was made public earlier this month. It said that there was no concrete evidence that could prove that Aryan conspired with Arbaaz and Munmun Dhamecha to commit an offence under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Aryan Khan’s parents Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have refrained from commenting on the subject. However multiple industry colleagues have taken turns to extend their support to the family during the crisis.
