Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) mentioned that the incident claimed the lives of four Frontier Corps personnel and an Inspector of the Levies force. The officials have launched a search operation and the area was cordoned off.

On Saturday, five Pakistani soldiers were killed in the North Waziristan district near the Afghanistan border. The incident took place when the terrorists attacked their vehicle.

In a statement, Pakistan’s media affairs wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the news. It mentioned that the incident claimed the lives of four Frontier Corps personnel and an Inspector of the Levies force. Immediately after the attack, the officials have launched a search operation and the area was cordoned off.

Previously on September 30 in an intelligence-based operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Tank district, a Pakistan Army captain was killed. Since the past few months, there has been a rise in the number of attacks on Pakistani forces.
