After the fame she got from her Harry Potter series, the author had to disguise herself in order to go out without being recognized to purchase her wedding dress. In the same year, she got married to Dr Neil Murray. It took her almost five years to plan about Harry Potter. In 1990, Joanna got the idea of Harry Potter while sitting on a delayed train from Manchester to London King’s Cross. She used to write her ideas on old scraps of paper.
