China has recently given a statement today that the frontline troops of India and China have completed the disengagement at most of the border locations. They also added that preparation is under process for the next military-level dialogues that will take place very soon amidst settling the remaining aspects.
The updates on border disengagement are being given by the Chinese foreign ministry. The announcement is done after the three-hour-long meeting on Friday of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination (WMCC). The meeting was held to discuss the border affairs that was conducted to evaluate and review the circumstances in border areas along with the procedure of disengagement along the western region of Line of Actual Control (LAC).
After the tensions soared between the two most populous countries of the world faced each other in June 2020 that saw the deadliest fight exploded in Galwan valley. But after a series of high-level meetings, the grounds of India and China start cooling down and also de-escalate with a steady rate.
